Fabric Focus: Maison et Jardin
When we think of European décor, visions of elegant linens and simple country estates come to mind. Our newest fabric collection – Maison et Jardin from Richard Frinier– suits that aesthetic perfectly. Available through Pindler & Pindler, a leading fabric resource for interior designers, Maison et Jardin features classic linen-weave constructions and coordinating stripes and jacquards. The fabrics are simple, elegant and absolutely breath-taking!
Richard Frinier created the collection to erase the boundaries between indoor and outdoor upholstery. It includes linen constructions in two weights and a duo of sun-washed stripes and four vintage jacquard patterns. Each fabric has a subtly distressed surface texture and has the appearance of a soft, vintage textile. All the fabrics are made of 100% Sunbrella acrylic so their beauty is matched only by the legendary performance of our fabrics.
Are you a fan of luxurious linen textures? You are certain to love Classique, a lighter weight construction similar to traditional linen historically used for fine clothing and table linens. Or consider Vintage, a heavier weight construction with a richness similar to antique linen.
La Mer and La Plage are two stripe patterns with vintage textural surfaces inspired by Frinier’s travels to Mediterranean seaside and coastal villages. The four coordinating jacquard patterns are Fontainebleau (floral motif), Fleur-de-Lis (classically styled lily or iris), Volute (scroll-shaped forms) and Orleans (garden gate pattern.) The fabrics evoke the romantic essence of the countryside of Provence or are ideal for neutral contemporary living spaces.

We hope these fabrics help turn your house into a beautiful European estate!
